Homemade Flubber

Homemade Flubber is a sensory activity recommended for people who have sensory disabilities, or for individuals with fine motor skills that need exercise.

Technical Specifications: 

Materials:

  • 2 bowls
  • Spoon
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 cup Elmer’s glue
  • 1 teaspoon borax
  • Food coloring

 

Step 1 – Mix together the cold water, a few drops of food coloring, and glue in the first bowl.

Step 2 – In second bowl mix together borax and hot water. Stir until borax has completely dissolved.

Step 3 – Slowly add the glue mixture to the borax mixture and stir well.

Step 4 – Pour off any excess water and play.

 

Recommended for ages 5 and up. Supervision is suggested.
